Revolution. Revolution is defined by Marilyn Fenichel (who wrote this lesson plan, Revolution: The Call to Battle) for Discovery Education:

Definition: Conflict fought for ideals and beliefs valued strongly, often by civilian soldiers willing to die for their principles; many times it ends with the existing government being overthrown and replaced by another.

Context: People fighting in a revolution find courage and strength in their cause that allows them to engage in struggles they would otherwise avoid.

I know there many people out there that do not, nor will not see what is truly happening to our country. Our rights have been slowly chipped away, most of the time right in front of our eyes. Freedom of speech (especially with the new president in place) is almost non-existent. It is becoming similar to McCarthyism (for those who may not be aware, the American Heritage Dictionary defines McCarthyism as "the political practice of publicizing accusations of disloyalty or subversion with insufficient regard to evidence.") when a person can criticize the policies of a politician at work and be reported for making racist comments. The second ammendment is coming closer and closer to not existing and even if the Supreme Court rules against someone taking away our right to bear arms, who will enforce it? After that momentous ruling in D.C. vs Hellar, not much has changed in Washington, D.C. Hellar still can not purchase a gun and keep it in his home.

We need to actually pay attention to what I going on in our country that is not being reported on our local news or in mainstream media. No matter what your religious leanings, if you can look past the differences (if you are Pagan and the writer is Christian) you can learn what is really happening in our country and how you can prepare. Take information from here and there, put it together, and you'll get the picture. I know when I first started "waking up" I sat here thinking, "Well what can I do about it?" Before you even begin viewing the links below, start listening to Patriot radio programs listed on the right side. If you hear something that you think is just totally out there, don't stop listening! The next topic could be the one that you NEED to hear. Then, start exploring these websites, reading these articles and files, and you will start to understand what YOU can do for yourself and your family.
